Eeeeeeeeeee!

I had my first pre-Australia meeting today! Met some great people and everyone is super excited! There's even a guy who was deployed in the Middle East for the past 2 years and came back to Tech this semester. Wowsers. I'm probably the most excited. I couldn't stop smiling. Anyone who was daring enough to initiate conversation with me heard the intricate story of why this trip is on my bucket list. At the end of the meeting, we all introduced ourselves formally and had to say one random fact about ourselves. This was tough, but I built up the courage to say "I still listen to the Backstreet Boys." Good first impression right? Most of the girls appreciated this while the professor seemed rather confused as to who they were...WHAT?!


This is gonna be the best summer EVER.
